The creation of a harmonious design that would combine traditional Asian style with modern elements was the main idea of the project. The premises were cluttered with unnecessary details from previous owners, which were removed during the renovation, revealing historical beams that were integrated into the design. Authentic brick walls were also uncovered. The structure of the second floor was decided to be left in place and utilized for additional seating, maximizing the use of every available centimeter of space. Ukrainian-made furniture as well as custom-made furniture were used in the project.
The establishment is located in the historic central part of Chernivtsi, making it an attractive spot. It is suitable both for hanging out with friends and for ordering food for takeaway, which was taken into account during the design development. In order to fully integrate the interior space with the street, the stairs were removed and a storefront with a large glazed area was used, which also opens up in the summer, making the establishment part of the street.
The usage of typical street elements of the Asian countries, namely neon signs, was one of the project ideas. Due to their large number and variety of colors, it was possible to achieve a play of light contrasts that wonderfully accentuate the design and atmosphere of Thai street food.
